Welcome to Kú LibRide. By creating an account or booking a ride through the platform, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
1. OUR SERVICE
Kú LibRide is a technology platform that connects passengers with independent drivers. We do not own or operate vehicles and do not provide transportation services.
2. INDEPENDENT DRIVERS
All drivers are independent contractors and are solely responsible for the transportation services they provide. Drivers are not employees, agents, or representatives of Kú LibRide.
3. PASSENGER RESPONSIBILITIES
Passengers agree to:
- Provide accurate account information.
- Pay all applicable fares and fees.
- Treat drivers respectfully.
- Wear a seatbelt where required by law.
- Not smoke, consume illegal drugs, carry dangerous weapons, or engage in unlawful conduct during a ride.
- Not intentionally damage a driver's vehicle.
4. PAYMENTS
Fares are displayed or calculated through the platform. Additional charges may apply for waiting time, cancellations, cleaning, damage, tolls, or other approved fees. Payment disputes should first be reported through the app.
5. CANCELLATIONS
Passengers may cancel rides subject to the applicable cancellation policy. Cancellation fees may apply.
6. LOST PROPERTY
Passengers are responsible for their belongings. Kú LibRide is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged property left in a driver's vehicle but will make reasonable efforts to facilitate communication between passengers and drivers.
7. SAFETY
Passengers must follow reasonable safety instructions from drivers and comply with applicable laws throughout the trip.
8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kú LibRide shall not be liable for accidents, injuries, delays, property loss, disputes, or damages arising from transportation services provided by independent drivers.
9. SUSPENSION OR TERMINATION
We may suspend or terminate accounts for fraud, abuse, non-payment, illegal activity, harassment, threats, discrimination, or repeated violations of these Terms.
10. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Liberia. Any disputes shall be resolved by the competent courts of Liberia unless otherwise agreed by the parties.
